How to choose a Kick bot

A Kick bot is a third-party account that sits in your chat and does jobs for you: answering commands, moderating, reading messages aloud, running games, and driving your OBS overlays. This guide covers the kinds of bots you will meet, the features that actually matter, and how setup works, so you can pick one without trying six.

Step one

Know which of the four kinds you are looking at.

"Kick bot" gets used for four very different things. Three are useful. One will get your channel banned.

1

Cloud chat bots

Run on the vendor's servers and join your chat as their own account. Commands, moderation and TTS keep working when your PC is off, and overlays load through a browser source. Ramlabs is this kind. Best default for most channels.

2

Desktop apps

Install on your streaming PC and run while you stream. Deep local automation (OBS scene switching, hotkeys) and nothing leaves your machine, but they stop when the app closes and need more setup.

3

Kick's native tools

Banned words, slow, follower-only and subscriber-only modes, AI moderation and slash commands, built into Kick. Turn them on regardless. They do not reply in chat, run TTS, games or overlays; a bot adds those on top.

4

Viewbots and follow bots

Fake viewers or followers to inflate numbers. They break Kick's terms, get channels banned, and fool nobody who looks at chat. No chat bot on this page does this, and neither does Ramlabs.

Step two

Check the features you will actually use.

Most streamers end up wanting the top half within a month. Pick a bot that has them all in one place; every extra tool is another login, another browser source and another thing to break mid-stream.

Feature Why it matters In Ramlabs
Runs in the cloud Chat keeps working when your PC is off or OBS crashes. Yes
Custom commands and timed messages Socials, schedule, rules and shoutouts without typing them 40 times a stream. Yes details
Moderation with escalation Word and link filters are table stakes; warn-first escalation and trust levels are what stop regulars getting banned by accident. Yes details
TTS The single biggest driver of chat interaction on Kick. Check the voices, the queue controls and whether cloning is included. Yes details
Alerts and overlays through one browser source One source to add, theme and move; per-widget sources multiply into a mess. Yes details
Loyalty points and games Kick has no native channel points, so this is how viewers earn and spend. Yes details
Song requests into your real player Requests that land in your actual Spotify queue, with limits, not a second player. Yes details
Multistream If you also stream to Twitch, Rumble or TikTok, one bot with shared points beats two. Yes details
Discord go-live Your community finds out you are live without you posting. Yes details
Tips, paid TTS and paid requests A support page with alerts and proper payouts turns chat interaction into income. Yes details
Mod access to the dashboard Mods run the stream while you play; per-section permissions keep payouts private. Yes
Clear pricing Know what is free, what is gated behind a tier, and what a viewer payment costs you. Free, 5% only on viewer payments details

Not every channel needs every row. A Just Chatting stream lives on TTS, moderation and tips; a gaming stream leans on commands, points and games. Choose for the top four you will use weekly.

Step three

What setup looks like with a cloud bot.

Fifteen minutes the first time, and nothing to reinstall afterwards.

1

Sign in with Kick

Log in with your Kick account (or Twitch or Discord) so the bot can join your chat. No card, no download.

2

Mod the bot account

Make the bot a moderator in your Kick channel so it can time out spammers and post without slow-mode limits.

3

Turn on features

Enable commands, moderation rules, TTS credits and points from the dashboard. Feature-coupled commands stay silent until their feature is set up.

4

Add one browser source

Paste the overlay URL into OBS once. Alerts, goals, chat, timers and games all render through it; arrange them in the visual editor.

5

Simulate before going live

Fire a fake follow, sub, tip and TTS message from the dashboard so you see and hear everything before viewers do.

FAQ

Kick bot questions

What is the best Kick bot?

The one that covers what your channel actually uses without a second tool. For most Kick streamers that means commands, moderation, TTS, alerts and overlays in one place, with loyalty points, games, song requests and Discord announcements as the community grows. Ramlabs does all of those free; the checklist above works for any bot.

Does Kick have a built-in bot?

Kick has native moderation tools (banned words, slow, follower-only and subscriber-only modes, AI moderation) and slash commands, but no bot that replies in chat or runs TTS, games and overlays. Third-party bots add those and work alongside the native tools.

Are Kick viewbots allowed?

No. Viewbots and follow bots fake engagement, break Kick's terms and put the channel at risk of a ban. Ramlabs never inflates viewer or follower counts: a chat bot posts as its own account and only does what you turn on.

Do I need to run software on my PC?

Not with a cloud bot. Ramlabs runs on its own servers, so commands, moderation and TTS keep working when your PC is off, and overlays load through one OBS browser source. Desktop bots need their app open while you stream.

Can I use two bots at once?

Yes, as long as they do not answer the same commands. Many streamers keep Kick's native moderation on and run one bot for everything else. Two full bots usually means duplicate replies and split points.
